OVERVIEW
The aim of the General Education Department is to provide medical students with opportunities that broaden their academic backgrounds to think critically about humanity for tomorrow and the future. We believe that a liberal-arts education at JMU will provide a life-long foundation for students to be compassionate and respectable physicians in rural areas throughout Japan.
