About
The purpose of the JMU Graduate School of Medicine is to further advance medical science to strengthen community medicine and to train professionals who have advanced research capability and strong medical backgrounds to play a leading role in the progress of medical science and treatment.
There is one Master’s program, “Medical Science Program,” and there are three Doctorate Programs: “Clinical and Community Medicine,” “Human Biology,” and “Environmental Medicine and Human Ecology.” Specialization courses are classified by the type of organs that are studied and an active approach is taken to education in interdisciplinary areas.
